Harnessing the spirit of the Fire Horse.
Working with the team at Lark, I was tasked with creating the packaging for their ‘Year of the Horse’ Lunar New Year release, using artwork by renowned Sydney artist Chris Yee. The design balances Yee’s bold storytelling with Lark’s distilling heritage through composition, colour and premium print finishes. The illustration brings together Cradle Mountain, elemental fire and water, and symbolic flora to form the spirit of the Fire Horse. This is elevated through foils, three-dimensional embossing and UV varnishes, adding texture, depth and movement — a presentation worthy of the whisky inside.
